Job Description:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Home Health coding.
- Practical experience with Plans of Care (POC) and a strong understanding of the U.S. Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process.
- Review and accurately classify clinical documentation, including Face-to-Face (F2F) encounters, visit notes, face sheets, and discharge summaries, ensuring completeness and compliance.
Review home health clinical documentation such as OASIS assessments, physician orders, and visit notes for accuracy and coding readiness. - Assign and sequence ICD-10-CM diagnoses in accordance with home health coding guidelines and CMS regulations.
- Maintain established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of OASIS and home health documentation requirements.
- Exhibit effective communication and problem-solving skills when collaborating with clinical and billing teams.
- Experience working with a variety of EMR/EHR systems in a home health environment.
