Software Project Manager

Experience: Fresher to 3 years

Looking for an experienced Software Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver software projects successfully. The role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects meet quality and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage software projects from initiation through delivery and postproduction support.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, DevOps, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource utilization.
• Identify potential delivery risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage scope changes and ensure appropriate impact assessment and approvals.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, clients, and leadership.
• Ensure software releases meet agreed requirements, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes and delivery practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. OR MBA in IT/Project Management
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects or priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good to have knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar platforms.
