Java Developer – Fresher

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Java Developers (Freshers) to join our Product Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to kick-start their careers by working on enterprise-grade products built using modern Java technologies, microservices, cloud platforms, and AI-enabled applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming, and database concepts, along with a willingness to learn emerging technologies and contribute to innovative enterprise software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend modules under the guidance of senior developers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in the development of microservices-based applications and enterprise software solutions.
• Work with relational databases to develop queries, stored procedures, and data access components.
• Learn and implement software design principles, object-oriented programming concepts, and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to understand business requirements and deliver quality software.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Support application deployment, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Learn and explore cloud technologies, containerization, and AI-enabled enterprise application development.
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and software development best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading concepts.
• Basic understanding of Java 8 or above and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot knowledge is preferred).
• Understanding of REST APIs and client-server application architecture.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic web application concepts is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Git or any version control system.
• Basic understanding of Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and solving technical problems.

Good to Have

• Academic projects or internships using Java, Spring Boot, or REST APIs.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization concepts.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI APIs through academic projects or self-learning.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and software design patterns.
• Participation in coding competitions, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
• Relevant Java certifications or cloud certifications will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, or related disciplines.
• Candidates graduating in 2025 or 2026 with a consistent academic record are encouraged to apply.
