We are looking for a Vice President / Assistant Vice President Channel partner and strategic alliance development focused on identifying, securing, onboarding and nurturing select partnerships with key Independent Software Vendors, Value Adding Resellers and Global System Integrators.

This role is key to AutomationEdge’s strategy to strengthen its global presence, drive network effects and increase relevance to the regional customer base.

Position Summary:

Responsible for indirect B2B sales including identification, recruitment, retention, training, and partner enablement. Develops and implements channel expansion strategy, drives double digit year over year channel growth, leads and manages nimble channel account team to achieve or exceed partner sales goals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Equal accountability for strategy, sales execution, and management of channel sales team
  • Personally recruits and develops channel partners to achieve or exceed business acquisition quotas. This may include recruiting prospective partners, managing and prioritizing channel development opportunities, sales training, making joint sales calls, partner enablement and support activities.
  • Fosters and maintains a positive, growing relationship and mind share with channel partners and their sales organizations.
  • Manages opportunities throughout the entire solution selling process and leverages various sales tools and resources available, including internal territory integration.
  • Manages administration of channel program including new program development, opportunity registration, channel conflict, and KPI compliance.
  • Identifies decision makers and influencers. Engages resources as appropriate to ensure efficient and effective opportunity management.
  • Drive regular communication and evangelism promoting the success of the partnership.
  • Develops, builds and reports on pipeline of new business opportunities using specified methods, including cold calling, staying in touch with existing customers, prospects and channel reps.
  • Ensures all activities are well documented and current in CRM
  • Stays current with company’s objectives; Achieve/exceed revenue and objective targets for partnerships.
  • Direct P&L Responsibility for all channel activities
  • Extensive travel

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Participates in sales team and other company meetings
  • Prepares reports, forecasts, budgets
  • Responds to miscellaneous channel partner and customer requests
  • Directly manages channel sales team. Carries out management and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
  • Consistent and proven record of exceeding revenue targets & business objectives.
  • Clear ability to define strategy, plan and execute
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field (i.e. Information Technology, Business, Marketing)

  • Experience: 12+ years of successful Channel/Partner Management experience operating at a senior level , experience in including IT oriented sales; RPA, automation or enterprise software products
  • This position may be located in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi or Pune
